revival!
Wow, wow. So many things have happened since I last posted. My computer had a virus attack, I think, and I was cut off for quite a while :/ Then never really got back to blogging. Well. Exams are (finally) over. So that's that, and no point thinking/whining about it anymore. We'll see when the results get back, I guess. And our school's after-exam schedule kind of sucks. Talks, boring movie screenings, basically a waste of time. I didn't go to school for two days xD Then my computer finally got fixed and I was like WHOA! xD It's like pure bliss and ecstacy after having been deprived of internet + sims for so damn long, lol. Actually, about 2.5 weeks. So anyway. Those two days that I stayed home from school I wsa on the computer virtually 24/7. SIMSI lost my legacy family that was already into its fourth generation D: Sucks, innit. But I've started a new family, and my first generation had twins! omg :D First time this happened! Lol don't I sound like a total newbie. But I've been playing sims for like what, 5 years now? Gosh. My cousin introduced it to me in primary school; that was waaaay back when it was still Sims 1. Haha. I did have bouts of going off it but Sims are still attractive in the end. Good job, EA Games! xD Along with my legacy family, I lost ALL my custom content. Which totally sucks. Once you start installing custom content, there's really no turning back. I can't imagine how I survived life in the past with only the boring Maxis official stuff. Ugh. So now I have to slowly amass up a collection again, which while is kinda irritating, might also have a positive side. 'Cause previously I was so enamoured with the whole "newness" of downloading custom content that I kinda downloaded blindly, even stuff that I didn't love. So now I guess I'll have a more streamlined and downsized collection. But with my new computer, Sims has reached a whole new experience level :D The graphics are way clearer/sharper and the gameplay is overall faster and therefore, more enjoyable :D Another thing I did when I got a new computer was to catch up on the 3 Gong Zhu Xiao Mei (Romantic Princess) episodes that I had missed. Frankly, I feel that the first few episodes are more enjoyable and interesting. Episodes 3-6 weren't that great D: But oh well. I still love hanakimi, though. Too bad the director decided that the ending was "perfect" and didn't want to do a sequel. Ugh! FRI 261007/HALLOWEEN @ ESCAPE! So. Yesterday I went to escape theme park with feng.lan and we met fiona and charmaine there :D Chinese palmistry, whoa it said like I'll have an accident in my 20s and I should get married at 30 plus if at all. But nah, I don't really believe that my fate in love is decided by the lines on my palm :D And all the rides were fun, but somehow less adrenaline-rush-providing than two years ago D: Haha I didn't ride the inverter cos I was scared that I would puke! We went on the usual stuff, the superman thing (whereupon we sang "I believe I can fly") and the spin spin thing (which is much tamer than before and where we spotted four lizards) and the mini rollercoaster (which fenglan called a choochoo train before she actually sat on it and decided that it was defintely NOT. It was invigorating cos we were right at the front :D) and the wet ride (Whereupon my mascara started running and I looked like a ghost!) and went into the haunted house! It was much tamer than secondary 1, much much tamer. I think the time when we were most spooked was when we just went in, cos the entrance was all creepy and stuff and some costumed guy handed us these garbage bags which were tied up. We were spooked out and I imagined that there was sth inside that would pop out when we tried to open it xD So we went to outside burger king where there were a few tables to try and open it, only it was like a super deserted corner and this guy in costume and mask started walking towards us, we were so frightened that we went into burger king where a few young girls were cowering in fear xD So we opened our stuff inside and realised that they were cute dexter toys and mousepads and mice T_T Haha. So then we just went out, and from then on wasn't really scared anymore. The mouse is damn cute! I wanted to use it but it's not the laser one which I have and is the latest technology, according to my dad, but rather the old roller type which won't be as sensitive. So yeah :/ Oh, and much thanks to my dad for waiting for us patiently and driving us too and fro :D SAT (TODAY)271007/FANGIRL+PLAZASING!Woohoo. Woke up at about 11am, from Mavis' call, and hurriedly had a milo and some you tiao before putting on my contacts and changing and going out to city hall where I met Mavis and Yingling, before going to the airport. I was wearing my green "some girls are born with glitter in their veins" tee with skinny jeans and the black chomel necklace and sneakers! :D Yay and okay we went to the airport to see FAHRENHEIT AHHH. Yes, I know it's a super fangirl thing to do, but ah, what tis like to be young and a fangirl! Lol. Well, certainly an experience, but I don't think I'd do it again. Frankly, I did it partially cos it's after exams and if I weren't there I'd probably just be at home playing sims. Also, I wanted to go out :D Anyway. We reached the airport past 1.30, and it was quite packed then already. The airport security had set up barriers from their belt (belt 33) all the way to outside where a mini-bus was waiting for them. It was very crowded by the sides of the barricades in the airport so being the smart people that we are, we went outside where they had to walk to the minibus and sat around for a while. So naturally, we were at the front and had a good clear view by the time everyone realised that it might be better to go outside. Lol. It was plain fangirlness. There were quite a few vans/cars that were waiting to chase Fahrenheit to wherever they were going, and some people holding up posters of them, even a banner. Many fans came bearing cards/gifts, but unfortunately they didn't manage to pass it to them. When they came out, everyone started screaming and the scene was very chaotic as there were a lot of security people with them and also those people from Singapore Hit Awards who were there to usher them in. They came running in, most were wearing hats/sunglasses. Couldn't see the whole face, but I did get a clear, albeit short-standing view of Wuzun and Jiro, the two people whom I care about the most :D So I'm happy :D Omg, to see them in real life! They look EXACtly LIKE they do on tv. Ahhh. :D So shuai! Haha. It happened damn fast. Like it was all over in 5 seconds. And I couldn't believe I had just experienced it, stoof all of 30 cm away from them (So near, yet so far!xD) and breathed the SAME AIR as them. Okay. (Calms down inner fangirl.) And when everyone was screaming as the driver drove off and Yingling was clutching my arm and shouting I was kinda in shock, couldn't react. Lol. WUZUN!!! (Okay shutup me.) Awesome, pure awesome. THEN we headed down to plaza singapura! And went to eat at Chippy's. Actually, Mavis and I bought Chippy's and went into McDonalds. Naturally, we did get food from there too. Anyway. The chicken was nice. In a weird way that didn't agree with my tummy. Later around 4.30 we went out into the open air and listened to YingLing's radio on her handphone (Fahrenheit was on 93.3) Then we went back into the mall and went to marks and spencer's to drool at all the yummy luxury food that we couldn't afford :D After traipsing around for a while we went to Carrefour! Where we amused ourselves for a while at the old books section before going to the costume section. Awesome, cos we had just been talking about a halloween celebration the day before! We tried on angel wings, witches' hats, pitchforks and just about everything there. Pictures, too. It was like damn fun, lol. Releasing your inner child once in a while :D Then Mavis bought a witches' hat (3 bucks) and she said it made her feel more connected to Harry, oh hahaha. And while we were at the check-out counter we saw these sweet tubes with cartoon heads on top that could vibrate/make noises and started playing with them. It was quite amusing and we have it all on video :D Then Yingling and Justina left and Mavis and I went to spotlight! Where we ooh-ed and aah-ed at all the pretty cloth and other stuff. Then we wanted to check out an interesting sounding place called Manhatten Fish Market, but turned out that it was just a restaurant T_T Oh, and we looked at guitars too :D And sexy sexaphones! Well, it was an enjoyable day :D How's that for a "comeback post"! Going to the gym tmr! Labels: exams, going out

Sometimes I like stillness and silence, but I get restless easily. I am happy when I am doing new things and when my days are jampacked. I am happy when around
friends and family.
I like anything which has a dignified air, and also anything that is seemingly effortless. I write poetry and prose, when I can. (No guarantees about standard of said
writing.)
But the best moments are when we're all laughing till our sides hurt, till we're gasping for air, and we're tearing. When the endorphins kick in full blast. I live
for these moments.
I am a work in progress. I am constantly trying to find myself. I have a bucket list, it is ambitious.
What you see here is only 0.1%, the rest goes into my diary.
Maybe some other day.
