dancefloor! & other random stuff
oh mannnn.
loads of stuff recently.
hmm yesterday we had red cross and it was quite eventful.
as in i was surprised we didn't get scolded, seriously.
and then we just did ttime prep lor.
[WAHLAU MY FATHER FREAKING HELL IRRITATING KEEP ON KNOCKING ON MY DOOR]
yeah siling looks like maytan in her ttime costume
but overall not bad la, the costumes were decent and to my untrained ear the song was quite good, except for the screwedpart :x
erm but i seriously thought her costume was UGLY and AHLIAN.
okay i need to rant, sorry.
just as a bit of background reading, xD i used to be quite a nice person in primary school but didn't really value the truth as in i DID but didn't apply that to my daily life. which means i told harmless little white lies here and there, and nope didn't feel guilty about it.
then in sec 1 i realised that life was a lot more complicated and i bitched about people without really meaning to. gosh i don't know what i was doing back then? but yeah, i was really wrong so from then on i decided to be SUPER DUPER NICE and totally not say anything bad about anyone at all. which i stuck to. i'm happy to have the description of a "filter" as thrust upon me by siling, haha.
anyway. but just because i don't talk about people to other people doesn't mean i love everyone i know.
and this person, ugh. she's really disgusting.
like sometimes act cool and all that shet, and at others acting sweet/cute/innocent when she's totally NOT. she's so freaking irresponsible and when i straight up asked her if she could please try to be more responsible, she told me, "i'm very irresponsible one."
O_O
i'm really unlucky to get sorted into a group with you, y'know?
and PLEASE. stop being so fake and poser. stop having double standards and expecting/imposing so much on other people when you're just as bad. stop thinking you're so damn blardy great.
WHATEVER. i shan't waste any more of my blog space on you.
anyway. after redcross, i guess yingling and i were kind of hulue rx's feelings, which i'm really sorry about. yeah.
but we patched it up la, like 1/3ed way during my dinner and had a 40 minute talk on the phone o_o
i hope you feel better dear! :D haha
hmm then my grandma was like annoyed and stuff cos i talked on the phone for so long and she had to reheat my dinner so in the end i just told her my friend was crying cos of exam stress.
exception, white lie.
then right! i went home to watch DANCEFLOOR WHOOOOO.
(missed the front part tho :x)
i didnt watch tonight's result show though.
OMG SOUL FUSION AND ESQUARED ARE IN :x
eeh don't like.
as in i think soul fusion is just okay la. maybe i'm a bit biased. i didn't watch esquared's performance but from the snapshots, it didn't really look impressive.

there, that's the link for this week's performance.
the maid one i didn't catch, but it seems gimmicky and just adequte.
streetz disciples. i didn't watch it as well but their previous week's performance didn't really impress me. it was just, ordinary?
dance! stomp. i thought that their outfits were somewhat skanky, if eye-catching. please, hot pink and lime green? and baring so much at such a young age? O_O the beat was kinda slow, i didn't really like it but i could see that the girls on the centre and right did their thang more than the one on the braces who was standing on the left.
my tango. good try, could see the effort but the rolling on the floor thing was perhaps TOO adventorous. it reminded me of the book "Confessions of a Geisha", where mameha-san was teaching sayuri about the duties of a geisha: they entertain and pour sake for the men, but will never go into the kitchen to fetch more sake as that's the servant's job. now, i'm not likening dancers to geishas but if you think about it, they're both performers and their job is to entertain. surely there's a better way of introducing something novel and capturing the audiences attention rather than rolling on the floor?
just the two of us. this group, i adore. they are GREAT. i like what they did! superb choreography, many groups like to make the transition but they really blended the two genres of dance really well, the funky ethnic moves was a unique and entertaining touch, they executed their steps well and cleanly, and it was really watchable for me. marvellous job [:
soul fusion. yes, their technique was great but it just lacked the extra oomph for me. it was a well choreographed and executed performance but lacking in passion that makes the crowd go wild.
groove avenue. didn't catch it, but they look pretty good, if a tad common.
THEN heh i went to bathe & stuff and helped cass with her math & i'm sorry i forgot to bring redcross shirt today for rx :x
math test and chinese test, bleh.
actly i have pretty high hopes for my math but i don't think i'll do well?
and as for chinese, i'm hoping to score for neiwrong but knowing me, i'll get a lot of cuobiezi.
whatever O_O
eating in class is kinda hard.
that's about it.
(napped alot today)
(had rs which was quite good)
:D
